Privacy

When you sign in, we create an account with your email address (via Clerk). When you import trades, we store:

• Your trade data — symbol, dates, prices, quantities, P&L — everything needed to show you analytics
• Import metadata — file name, broker, segment — to prevent duplicate imports
• Tags and notes you add to your trades

Your original .xlsx files are never stored on our servers. They're parsed in your browser, matched using FIFO, and only the resulting trade data is sent to the database.

• No ads. Never have, never will.
• No data selling. Your trade data is yours. We don't share it with brokers, analysts, or anyone else.
• No third-party trackers. No Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no mixpanel. We don't track what you click or where you go.
• No dark patterns. No upsells, no premium tiers, no "upgrade to unlock".

• Authentication is handled by Clerk — we never see or store your password
• Database hosted on Neon (serverless Postgres) with encryption at rest
• All connections are HTTPS/TLS encrypted
• Your data is isolated by user — you can only ever access your own trades

The demo mode uses a pre-seeded account with synthetic data. No real trades, no real user. You can explore everything without signing in or sharing any information.
