Terms of Use
Plain English, no legalese. Here's what you're agreeing to when you use Khaata.
What Khaata is
Khaata is a trading journal and analytics tool for Indian retail traders. It helps you track, review, and learn from your trades. It is not a broker, trading platform, or financial advisory service. We don't execute trades, manage portfolios, or provide investment recommendations.
Your account
One account per person. You're responsible for keeping your login secure — don't share your email OTP with anyone. If you suspect unauthorized access, let us know immediately.
We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms.
Your data
You own your trade data. We store and process it solely to provide you with analytics and journaling features. We don't sell, share, or monetize your data in any way. See our privacy policy for the full details on how your data is handled.
Acceptable use
- Don't abuse the service — no spamming, no automated scraping, no overloading our servers
- Don't upload malicious files or attempt to exploit the import pipeline
- Don't use Khaata for anything illegal or to circumvent broker/exchange rules
- Don't reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract our source code
Disclaimer
Khaata is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. The analytics, metrics, and insights shown are for informational and educational purposes only — they are not investment advice.
We are not responsible for any trading decisions you make based on data or analytics displayed in Khaata. Markets carry inherent risk, and past performance does not guarantee future results. Always do your own research and consult a qualified financial advisor before making investment decisions.
Changes & contact
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll note it here with an updated date. Continued use of Khaata after changes means you accept the new terms.
